Furniture Poker Tables

Often referred to as the his and hers poker table, one of the most innovative tables is the furniture poker table with a dining top. Hold’em style poker tables can be large and difficult to find a place to put. They typically start at $1,000 and go up in price very quickly. Fortunately, manufacturers have solved this problem by creating tables with a removable dining top. During the everyday family life the table can be used just like any other kitchen table. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can all be enjoyed effortlessly.

Underneath the top lies a felt surface and any other special details for poker night whenever someone wants to simply lift off the top.

Another great feature of this type of table is that the felt is typically removable. Since you are making such a major investment in the furniture it is nice to know that if someone spills a drink or pulls over some greasy pizza the top can be easily replaced with minimal confusion and cost.

This often works as a great compromise for those with limited space to devote to tables or who want to really maximize their dollar.

What is also interesting is that compared to regular dining tables some poker tables with dining tops can actually be less expensive.

Finally, furniture poker tables may seem expensive at first, but by the time you factor in the life expectancy of a table like this you can actually come out ahead if you play poker often. The tables are typically painted with several layers of paint to preserve the wood and with the replacement felts it can be much more affordable than replacing mid-range poker tables over and over.
