Extending the Loving Gift of Personalized Poker Chips

April 19th, 2010 Poker Chips

If you are thinking about buying someone a set of personalized poker chips, here are some things that you might like to consider. Buying personalized chips is a way of bringing some light heartedness and a little bit of flair into the game. If you know anybody who often holds a poker school at their house, (maybe even yourself?), they could make a really appropriate gift.

Try to think about how suitable the personalization of the chips will be. You want to make sure that the personalization on the poker chips works just as well five years from now as it does today. You really want to make sure that you put a lot of thought into just what it is that you are going to personalize the poker chips with.

Names and dates are some of the most common ideas when personalizing poker chips. Maybe that is a great idea for a few of your poker buddies but there are also personalization’s that can mean a little more, such as inside jokes.

With the decision made as to what form the personalization is to take, the next step is to look around to find a suitable supplier, one who not only sells poker chips, but who can also do the personalization. The important thing is to make sure you start off with a quality chip in the first place. Once you have established that they are long wearing and durable, you then need to make sure that the quality of the printing is top notch and is not got to wear off or fade away after a few months.

Also, don’t forget to check around to see whether anybody else wants to buy some personalized poker chips too, or whether there are more beneficiaries you can think of gifting them to. The larger the quantity you can buy, the better. You may find you can get a better price by grouping the purchases all together on the one order, and you will certainly save on shipping costs.

Before you place your order, or select your supplier, you should do a little bit of research first. You just need to check out that they will supply the goods ordered (particularly where you are paying in advance), and what their policy is if the product or the printing is not up to your satisfaction. You don’t want to end up with a situation where you are left with a product that you are not comfortable and where you have no redress.

It also would not hurt to check out the companies promise for quality products. What if the poker chips you received are not exactly what you ordered or what if they are slightly misspelled or something to that nature? And what if you simply do not like the way they look once the arrive to your house? You want to make sure that you are researching the companies customer satisfaction statement to see if refunds or exchanges are honored.
